If you haven't done so yet, why not receive Christ as your personal Savior and Lord today?

Why Do We Give Gifts at Christmas?

I'm sure you can think of numerous reasons: love; joy at seeing others'  happiness. Then there are ulterior motives: obligation rather than love;  trying to exceed or at least match the other's gift; or its what we would really like.

Why do we give gifts at Christmas?

Is it because the Magi brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the young Jesus?  Or is it because St. Nicholas was known for his generosity toward the poor?

What if it is because GOD is the most extravagant Giver of all? Someone has said, "Love knows no limit to what it gives."  Of course we are limited in our resources, and often in our love.  God is not limited in either love or resources.
